Welcome to the Lake Como of Lake Austin! This stunning home is the epitome of bringing the beauty of the outdoors in. From the lush exterior, to the charming and elegant interior, you will find a sanctuary of nature, relaxation and privacy.

The home has been completely renovated with the whole design philosophy centered around the stunning lake views. At 5108 square feet, the home boasts 5 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and a 3-car garage and is located on an excellent stretch of Lake Austin and within the highly sought after Eanes School District. Situated at the end of Bruton Springs, a long, private driveway provides a beautiful approach to the home along with ample parking for guests.

The front entry rotunda is a quiet, peaceful and open space that features a one-of-a-kind work of art by a talented, local ceramicist done in white ceramic glaze on a white wall. While all white on paper, the art is white (the pieces) and grey (the shadows) and features over 400 pieces. From limestone, acorns, branches, leaves and moss balls collected on the property, the installation was beautifully executed and sets the tone for all who visit.

Through the rotunda, you enter into one portion of the main entertainment space that houses the kitchen, dining and living room. With custom White Oak cabinets, quartzite countertops and backsplash, oversized Wolf range, double oven, cabinet-cladded appliances and a large, walk-in pantry, the kitchen fulfills every need. The row of doors and windows provides the ease of opening the spaces to the outside with views of the lake and pool. Ample seating throughout the dining and living rooms makes the space both functional and comfortable. The dining room has built-in cabinets and the fireplace anchors the expansive living room.

To the left of the rotunda, a secondary dining room space was beautifully transformed into a custom bar featuring an oversized arched counter, bold plastered walls and a double-sided fireplace. The space is moody and elegant with impeccable attention to detail. The opposite side of the fireplace flows into a large game room with shuffleboard, a pool table and is flanked with windows overlooking the pool and lake. A half bathroom serves guests and has direct access to the pool. Past the game room is a guest bedroom and a full bathroom.

Outside, the infinity-edge swimming pool becomes one with the lake and is the counterpoint of entertainment. A covered porch hosts a large outdoor dining table, kitchenette with a brand-new Green Egg. To the left, there’s an attached spa, as well as an outdoor shower. Surrounding the pool is quality Janus et Cie lounge furniture. Terracing down to the water, the lot features towering trees and extensive landscaping, but also a large grassed area that serves as a true yard space. Down the remaining stairs, you come to the water’s edge with a fire pit area. The two story boat dock features a huge party deck, the perfect expansion of entertainment space from the main house.

Upstairs, the primary bedroom is the ultimate retreat. With sweeping windows and access to a large balcony overlooking the pool and lake, the space is both grandeur and comfortable. Natural light fills the space from all sides. A clawfoot tub is the highlight in the primary bathroom, along with the expansive walk-in closet with custom built-ins and high-tech features.

Near the primary is the first of three secondary upstairs bedrooms. The owner currently has this as a second office with a sofa; there is a full bathroom attached. Across the hallway is a small room that can be used as a workout space, bunk room or additional storage. The other side of the second floor has a large secondary living room, two additional bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms, a dedicated office and laundry room. A sound system is installed throughout the entire home.

The home can be sold fully-furnished. The owner worked with a local design firm to execute the vision and selected furniture and fixtures by top design firms including Aerin, Suzanne Kasler, Schumacher and Susan Conner. In efforts to not compete with the beautiful nature surrounding the home, the design team predominantly opted for calming natural tones with pops of green. The artwork, fabrics and furniture each nod to the natural movement of blowing trees and rippling water. For example: watery look of dining table material, rug in game room supposed to look like the lake, movement in kitchen island quartzite and backsplash, florals on couch, artwork in dining area, Roni Horn photographs above shuffleboard.

The house was a true passion project, thoughtfully curated and expertly executed.  You are invited to come experience what can now be your home.
